Welford is a small, friendly club that was formed back in 1988 by a group of school friends. ​Since then, we have gone on to become a competitive and ambitious club with teams playing across Northamptonshire and Leicestershire.

We have a mixed team who play in the Leicestershire and Rutland Leagues, a Badgers team who play in Northamptonshire and Leicestershire and numerous juniors teams who play in the Northamptonshire area.

​

Our aim is to provide excellent coaching, high-level playing opportunities, value for money, along with being a social and community-minded club. We are accredited by England Hockey through their Club Mark scheme.

 

We play and train at Lutterworth College (pitch what3words = scary.mega.shins ;  parking what3words = friends.downfield.pixel).​

 

We are always looking for new players so please get in touch if you are interested in joining us, whether you are new to hockey, a regular player, or wanting to get back into a great team sport.
